PYROGRAPHY
THE DEBUT ALBUM - OUT NOW
Hertfordshire-based grunge-metallers Raze unleash their debut LP; ‘Pyrography’ - the 9-track release showcases the band’s innovative style; combining grunge sensibilities and progressive touches with heavier metal grooves.
Guitarist Daniel Eveleigh explains the meaning behind the album title:
“Pyrography is the creation of art using fire,” states Eveleigh.
“With this release we've done just that - we've taken our emotional fire and passion and poured into the record. ”
The artwork by Tom Lamont (Burntaxe) further embodies this concept, with iconography physically burned into a wooden panel.
The album was recorded and mixed at Black Seraph Studios by the band's own Louis Dunham and mastered by Paula Nelson.
